Lessons on Life and Death

The death of a patient can be significant event for professional caregivers. Yet, little attention is paid to the emotional toll this exert on carers, nor support they need cope during time. purpose study was explore experiences home carers following patient. Qualitative data collected through individual semistructured interviews with six United Kingdom were analyzed using interpretative phenomenological analysis. A central aspect merging carers' personal and losses. Three key themes were: (1) there are no boundaries loss, (2) coping actions, (3) new understanding life death. These conversations gave space share their grief as well lessons own mortality. Learning from these will highlight complexity loss possible sources support.
